Green Mountain Bicycles sells a lot of top-of-the-line mountain bikes, but they also stock used bikes and are happy to work on my (very) outdated machines - a huge contrast to my experience at some other (unnamed) shops I have been laughed at and told to "forget about fixing it, it's too !@#$ old."
My All-Time Favorite Bike Shop!!! Doon and company are super friendly, knowledgeable, and great at what they do. Their shop has a HUGE selection of used parts (they keep even the really junked stuff just in case you want that one good part off of it), as well as a lot of take-offs and new bikes/parts. Superb customer service combined with a clear love for the sport make these guys great to do business with.

My wife and I rented two bikes here for an inn to inn tour. We're from the Left Coast and we hadn't been here before. DooN totally set us up with new Kona hybrids that rocked the awesome paved and hardpack dirt roads of this spectacular cycling paradise. DooN helped us with our routes, delivered our bikes to our first inn, and picked them up at the end. His bike shop, 30 years running, should be a mandatory stop on any tour. It is amazing! This shop has earned the superlative reviews that others have given. For anything cycling, you gotta check these guys out.
Bikes for rent and for sale - I've done both. Doon and team are courteous and very knowledgeable about the bikes and about the area. Only bike shop with an operating draw bridge that I know of :)
